Love MK Hate Litter

On Monday (14th September) the team behind local action group Love MK Hate Litter will kick-start a two-week litter picking campaign across Milton Keynes as part of this month’s Keep Britain Tidy’s Great British September Clean Challenge taking place across the UK.

With a goal of hitting 250 bags of litter across the fortnight, organisers are encouraging members of the business community to join in and take on the fight against litter on the streets of Milton Keynes.

The latest initiative follows the success of July’s Love MK Hate Litter seven-day campaign which saw dozens of local residents participate following a surge in littering after lockdown restrictions eased.

MKBLP member Ken Tomkins, from Kaizen Restaurants Ltd who has the franchise for six, Milton Keynes McDonald’s restaurants is part of the team spearheading the challenge.
